Chicken 65 Restaurant style 2

 

Restaurant style chicken 65 recipe is famous all over the world... Usually make this recipe even at every one home... During my first year of marriage i used to make chicken 65 for all guests who came home, I used to pair it with chicken briyani and mutton briyani. some body use store brought chicken 65 masala powder to fry the chicken....


But i love to use frsh one and dont even store them, if you know what i mean. I think that is very yummy and delicious one as well as always woundered how chicken 65 in restaurants alone ture very soft and juicy... I didn't give a serious thought untill the little one started tasting and licking chicken... i use many way to prepare the chicken 65 recipe but now i browsed around and finished this recipe which turned out to be a hit...


Chicken 65 is a spicy dish that can be served as appetizer, snacks, sidedish etc.... There are many stories behind this dish... but the original thing is this dish originated in chennai old daysin restaurant they actually used a unique numbering system in the menucard / board... and particular dish was the 65th item on that menu... So it became chicken 65.....

Marination time : 1 hour

INGREDIENTS :

Chicken - 1/2 kg (Boneless chicken cut into small size pieces)
Chilli powder - 1 tspn
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tspn
Curd - 1 tbspn
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tspn
Red food colour - 1 pinch
Lemon - 1/2 
Corn flour - 1 tbspn
Salt - as needed
Oil - for frying

METHOD :

  • Wash the chicken well and keep aside..
  • In a mixing bowl add in ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, garam masala powder, red colour, salt, curd and atlast squeeze the lemon... 
  • Then add in corn flour, and add in chicken and mix well with your hands..
  • Then marinate the chicken for 1 hour...
  • Heat a pan with oil and deep frying the marinated chicken.
  • Drop it into the oil one by one and after 2 mins toss it lightly..
  • Now drain it in a kitchen tissue paper and serve hot with lemon wedges..

PICTORIAL :


Take your ingredients
In a mixing bowl add in ginger garlic paste
Chilli powder
Garam masala powder
Red food colour
Salt
Some curd
Squeeze lemon 
Add in cornflour
Add in chicken pieces
Mix well
Now it's done and marinate for 1 hour
Heat a pan with oil
Take a piece of chicken
Drop it into the oil
One by one
Toss lightly
Drain it
In a tissue paper
Now transfer it into a serving plate
Serve hot
