Mushroom Fried Rice / Mushroom Rice Recipe


Mushroom Fried Rice is a indo chinese fried rice recipe prepared with mushroom.. They are easy to cook and great to taste.. I love to make this type of fried rice especially when I have fresh spring onions (from my garden) at home and I recommend to use them when we make indo chinese recipe at home.. 


Here this rice recipe is very easy for me to prepare because I have some left over rice.. The whole dish is stirred very quickly at high flame, which makes restaurant like flavour in this dish.. This can be served plain or with any indo chinese dishes like.. Chilli Paneer or Gobi Manchurian Dry or Mushroom Manchurian Gravy etc..

INGREDIENTS :

Mushroom - 1 cup (chop them into medium pieces)
Butter - 2 tbspn
Green chilli - 2 (chopped)
Garlic - 2 cloves (chopped)
Onion - 1 (chopped)
Salt - as needed
Sugar - as needed
Pepper powder - 1 tspn
Spring Onion - 1 tspn (white part)
Spring Onion - 2 tbspn (green part)
Soya sauce - 1 tspn

METHOD :

  • Cook the basmati rice as per the method given in the link, keep aside..
  • Heat a pan with some butter add in chilli, garlic, spring onion white and toss well.
  • Now add in onion and stir well in high flame with garlic and toss till transparent..
  • Add in mushroom pieces and toss along with onion..
  • Stir well for 5 mins, till the mushroom became to change it's colour..
  • Add in salt, sugar and pepper powder and stir well with mushrooms..
  • Keep cooking this mixture till the mushroom are done and the oil floats on the top..
  • Add in soya sauce and mix well.
  • Add in rice and stir gently for 2 mins..
  • Now add in spring onion green part and mix well.
  • Serve hot and enjoy..


PICTORIAL :

Take all your ingredients 
Chopped Spring onion with white part
Add some butter in a pan
Add in garlic and toss well for 30 sec
Add in spring onion white and green chilli
Stir well for 1 min
Add in chopped onion and toss well
Till they became transparent
Add in chopped mushroom pieces
Toss well along with onion
Cook for 5 mins in low flame
Add in salt, sugar pepper powder 
Mix it well
Keep stirring till the mushroom cook 
So that the oil floats on the top
Add in soya sauce 
Mix well and check for the salt
Add in cooked rice
Mix it well for 5 mins
Now the rice is done
Add in spring onion green part
Mix it well
Done
Transfer them in a bowl
Serve hot
