Homemade Pav Bhaji Buns / Eggless Pav Buns


Here I am back with Pav buns recipe which is eggless and homemade pav buns.. This mumbai famous ladi pav are made easy, light, fluffy and heartly texture.. Pav is basically knowns as small loaf of bread always made with all purpose flour / maida and sometimes combained with whole wheat flour or other flours..


Pav Buns are served it with my bhaji recipe which turns out super yummy... Making of homemade pav bun sare not at all hard, if those buns dough are in correct then these buns will turns out super soft.. The sticky consistency of the dough will give you soft and fluffy buns or breads...


Once the dough reach the first rises, you must knead the dough for atleast 7 to 10 mins.. so it became soft and smooth piliable dough, which is ready for the next step.. This will helps to bake the buns beautifully... You can see the texture of the buns in above picture..

Baking Time : 25 to 30 mins
Resting Time : 2 hours

INGREDIENTS :

FOR DOUGH :

All purpose flour / Maida - 3 cups
Dry yeast - 1 tbspn
Salt - 1 tspn
Sugar - 2 tbspn
Oil - 3 tbspn 
Warm milk - 1 cup or as needed
Butter - for brushing on the top

METHOD :

  • Mix yeast and sugar with warm milk and set aside for 5 mins, let they foam..
  • Take flour, salt and oil in a bowl and mix well.
  • Pour yeast mix into the flour mixture, mix well to form a sticky dough..
  • Apply some oil over the dough...
  • Cover it with plastic wrap or damp cloth and set this for 1 hours till it doubled in size..
  • (Keep it oven so they keep warm)
  • Transfer the dough to the surface and add some flour and knead it well..
  • It will take 5 to 7 mins, so the dough became soft..
  • Now roll the dough into log and cut them into equal portions..
  • Take a portion and roll it into ball.
  • Arrange the buns in oil greased baking pan..
  • Once all are done, cover it with plastic wrap and let them rise for 1 more hour..
  • In last 10 mins or rising preheated the oven into 180 Degree C..
  • When the dough risen completely and once they stick together..
  • Brush the top with some butter and baked them for 35 to 40 mins..
  • Remove and brush some butter over the top..
  • Serve warm with bhaji masala..
  • Enjoy.. 

PICTORIAL :

Take all the ingredients
Take yeast in a bowl
Some sugar to it
Add in warm milk
Give it a mix 
Let it sit for 5 mins
Now see how they are foamy
Take flour in a bowl and add in salt
Mix it well
Add some oil
Pour in your yeast mix
With a spoon or fork
If needed add in additional cup of milk
 to form a dough
See how sticky the dough, 
it will gives a soft buns
Apply some oil over the dough
Mix well
Cover it with plastic wrap till they rise
Keep it warm place
Now it has more than double in size
Remove the wrap
Knock out air
Knead well
Remove it to a butter paper
Dust some flour over it
Knead well for 5 mins till they became soft
Shape them into log
Cut them into small pieces
Take a portion of dough and roll them into ball
Brush some butter in baking pan
Place the rolled buns in it
Now all are rolled
Cover it with plastic wrap for 1 hour
Now they are risen double in size
Brush some butter or milk over it
Baked it
Again brush some butter over it
Now pav buns are ready
Look how fluffy is this
