Andhra Style Prawns Fry Recipe / Prawns Varuval
Andhra Style Prawns Fry is a simple and easy recipe from Andhra pradesh, which can be prepared by simpliest and easiest method.. I am a great fan of prawns and I can eat as often as possible without getting tried out of it.. I tried different recipes using prawns.. But this is slightly different version of prawns fry this time...
Iam pleased with the end result and flavours of the prawns was outstanding good.. Here I choose small prawns but you can use medium size prawns too.... But cleaned them and deveined it properly...
It works as a starter for great party or as a side with rice.. So I hope that you must try this recipe and let me know it's turns out from you...

Marinate Time : 30 mins

INGREDIENTS :
Prawns - 250 grams (wash and de-viened)
Turmeric powder - 1 tspn
Water - 1 cup
FOR MARINATE :
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Lemon juice - 2 tbspn
Chilli powder - 1 tspn
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tspn
Salt - as needed
TO SAUTE :
Oil - 1 tbspn
Garlic - 2 cloves (chopped finely)
Onion - 1 big (chopped finely)
Curry leaves - few
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tspn
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Corinader powder - 1/2 tspn
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Salt - as needed
METHOD :
- Wash the prawns well, deveined it and add little turmeric powder..
- You can also use medium size prawns instead of small prawns..
- Rub it with your hands and wash well, drain it..
- In a mixng bowl, add in prawns, salt, lemon juice, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste and mix well.
- Rest it for 15 mins and transfer them to a pan..
- Cook the prawns in low flame till the water evapourate..
- Remove them to a plate and keep aside..
- Don't over cook the prawns, because it became rubbery..
- Again heat a pan with oil, add in onion, garlic and toss well till light brown..
- Add in curry leaves, stir well. Add in cooked prawns..
- Now add in coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and salt..
- Mix well, check for salt and spices..
- Stir fry it for 2 mins till the raw smell leaves..
- Now add in coriander leaves and mix well.
- Transfer them to a plate and serve with sliced onion..
- Enjoy..
PICTORIAL :
Take your prawns and devein it
Add in turmeric powder
Rub with your hands
Add in water
Drain it
Transfer them to a bowl
Add in salt
Squeeze some lemon juice
Add in ginger garlic paste
Mix well
Cover it and let it rest fro 30 mins
After 30 mins, it will be watery
Add them to a pan
Let it cook for 5 mins
Cover it with lid and cook it in low flame
Now it's done, transfer them to a plate
Take all your ingredients
Heat a pwn with oil and add in garlic, onion
Add in curry leaves
Toss well till light brown
Add in cooked prawns
Toss well along with the onions
Add in spices powder, salt
Mix it well
Fry till the raw smell leaves
Add in coriander leaves
Mix it well
Transfer them to a plate
Enjoy..

Butter Chicken Dry Roast
Butter Chicken Dry Roast is a simple and delicious recipe, here the chicken is marinated with bunch of spices and stuff for 1 or 2 hours and cooked in butter makes the dish aromatic and flavourful.. I dont need to add water while cooking, the chicken itself leach out it's water and which the chicken will cooked..
I make the recipe in last week and clicks picture for the recipe, my hubby and my son hurry to have the dish.. (quick mom.. quick mom) They told that, (what a good smell comes from the chicken).. And they enjoyed the dish along with rasam rice and enjoyed the core..

INGREDIENTS :
Chicken - 1/2 kg (without bone)
Butter - 5 tbspn
Kasuri methi - 1 tbspn
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
FOR MARINATION :
Chilli powder - 1 tbspn
Coriander powder - 1/2 tbspn
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn
Cumin powder - 1/4 tspn
Garam masala powder - 1 tspn
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbspn
Lemon juice - 2 tbspn
Tomato sauce - 1 tbspn
Soya sauce - 1/2 tbspn
Salt - to taste
METHOD :
- I use chicken breast for this recipe you can use chicken with bone..
- Clean the chicken and make it a medium size pieces..
- Add the chicken to a bowl and add all the ingredients given in the list "FOR MARINATION"..
- Mix them an dset aside for 2 hours..
- Then heat a pan with butter and once it heated add in marinated chicken..
- Mix along with the butter and cook for 15 mins in low flame..
- So the chicken leach it's own water from it..
- Keep tossing the chicken untill it became dry and cokked..
- Then rise the heat of the flame to fry the chicken till brown..
- Once it's done, sprinkle some kasuri methi and chopped coriander leaves and mix well..
- Transfer them to a serving plate and serve hot..
- Enjoy..
PICTORIAL :
Take all your ingredients
Take chicken breast and cut them into small medium pieces
Add in spices powder
Add in ginger garlic paste
Good amount of lemon juice
Add in salt
Some tomato sauce
Add in soya sauce
Mix well, keep aside for 1 or 2 hours
Heat a pan with butter
Add in chicken pieces
Toss the chicken along with the butter
The chicken leach out lot of water
Keep cooking and stirring
Now keep on cooking for 20 mins
Now the water evaporate
The colour of the chicken is change into brown
Add in kasuri methi
Add in chopped coriander leaves
Toss well along with the chicken
Transfer them to a serving plate
Serve hot,, yummy
