Prawns 65 / shrimp 65


Prawns fries are very easy to prepare and makes a good starter or side, They are always a comfort food for me... There are many versions and i have already post another tasty and flavourful version that is Goan prawn fry which i make it tawa...  This yummy version goes well with a fried rice and any veriety rice... 



This prawn 65 / Shrimp 65 is made within 10 mins and lemon flavour which minkle with the prawn that gives excellant flavour while we have a bite... This prawns fry is covered with a slight crust not to over batter and it is totally yummy... The orgin of chicken 65 is a yummy and delicious starter, deep fried chicken dish popular in south indis.. But the same way i used in the prawn 65...It is finger licking recipe...




Kids also like this type of sea food recipe... My son is not a good fan of prawns but i made this like chicken 65 he really enjoyed this core...Today i make prawn Briyani soon i post the recipe keep watching this...

Preparation  time : 10 mins
Marinade time : 1/2 hours
Frying time : 7 mins
Serve : 2

INGREDIENTS :

Prawns - 250 Gms (remove the shell and clean them)
Chilli powder - 1 tspn
Turmeric powder - 1pinch
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tspn
Pepper powder - 1/ 2 tspn
Red food colour - 1 pinch
Rice flour - 1 tspn
Cornflour - 1 tspn
Lemon - half
Salt - as needed

METHOD :

  • In a mixing bowl add in ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, red food colour, Rice flour, cornflour, lemon juice..
  • Add in clean prawns and mix it with spoon.. 
  • Now the marinate is doen and keep in the fridge for 1/2 hour..
  • Then remove from the fridge and mix once and drop one by one into the heat oil...
  • Leave it for 2 mins and flip prawns and add in curry leaves...
  • After 5 mins take them out and drain in a paper towel..
  • Then transfer it into a plate...
  • Serve with sliced onions and lemon wedges..


NOTE :

  1. Clean the prawns well and remove the vein from the prawns..
  2. Marinate for atleast 1/2 hour..
  3. No need to over fry the prawns it take only 5 mins... 


PICTORIAL :


Take the prawns and wash well
Take all the ingredients
In a bowl add ginger garlic paste
Add in chilli powder
Turmeric powder
Add in pepper powder
A pinch of red food colour
Add in salt
Add in rice flour, corn flour
Add in lemon juice
Add in prawns
Mix well 
Keep it into a fridge for 1/2 hour
Take and mix well with your hands
Now it's time to fry
Heat a pan with oil
Drop the prawn one by one
When it half cooked
Add in curry leaves
Now it's done
Take them away
Drain in a paper towel
Serve with onions and lemon
Enjoy...
