Simple Egg Pepper Fry / Muttai Milagu Varuval is a easy, simple, quick and spicy pepper made with simple ingredients and makes a best and delicious sidedish for Pulao, Ghee Rice (south indian style), or any Rice varieties or Parottas... Preparation Time : 5 mins
Cooking Time : 5 mins + 7 mins to cook eggs
Serve - 2 to 3

INGREDIENTS :

Eggs - 2 (Hard boiled, peeled)
Oil - 1 tbspn (for roasting)

FOR MASALA (DIPPING) :

Chilli flakes - 1/2 tspn
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn
Pepper powder - 1/2 tspn
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Salt - as needed
Water - as needed

METHOD :

  • Take your boiled eggs and peel the skin and divided into half..
  • Now in a bowl mix all the ingredients for masala in the coloum " FOR MASALA"..
  • Mix it with little water (noted that the masala is no too watery)
  • Then dip the half of the egg into a prepared mixture, coated the masala well.
  • Now place it on the hot tawa with some oil..
  • Then repeated this for all eggs and fry till golden on both sides..
  • When the eggs are done transfer them to a plate and serve hot..
  • Enjoy..


PICTORIAL :


Take your boiled eggs and peel the skin
Cut them into half
Remove them to a plate
In a bowl add in chilli flakes
Add in rice flour
Then your salt
Some pepper powder
Add in ginger garlic paste
Add in chopped coriander leaves
Mix it with little water
Add in turmeric powder
Place the half egg and coated it with masala
Place it on the hot tawa with some oil
(Repeat this for all the eggs)
Roasted it well
Cook on both sides till golden and crispy
Now it's done
Transfer them to a plate
