Pepper Masala Fish Fry / Spicy Pepper Fish Fry


Pepper masala fish fry is a simple, tasty, delicious and flavourful fish fry... This is a milagu meen recipe which i prepared on my T.V. show in KONJAM CHORU KONJAM VARALARU in PUTHU YUGAM channal with Hari.. I didn't forget that experience along with my family members..


Sorry guys, i forget to post my family favourite fish fry in my blog, so i tried it out immediately it was awesome and lip smacking recipe.. The best part of the dish is it can be done within 15 to 20 mins and taste is just mind blowing.. So what are you friends waiting for try it out quickly it is easy and tasty...

Preparation Time : 10 mins
Cooking Time : 15 mins
Marination Time : 30 mins
Serve - 3 to 4

INGREDIENTS :

Fish fillets - 300 grams / 10 pieces ( i use vanjaram / king fish)
Dry red chilli - 7 to 8 nos
Whole black pepepr - 1 tbspn
Garlic - 2 cloves 
Fennel seeds / Sombu - 1/2 tspn
Curry leaves - few
Salt - as needed
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn
Coconut oil - for frying..

METHOD :

  • Take all the ingredients in a blender except turmeric powder and make it a thick and smooth puree..
  • Take it in a bowl and add in turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Add in fish and mix well, Set aside to marinate for 30 mins..
  • Heat pan with coconut oil and add fish..
  • Leave it for 1 mins, and flip it up and cook till the fish became golden brown..
  • Drain it in tissue paper and serve it with rice..
  • Enjoy..


PICTORIAL :


Take all the ingredients
Clean the fish and slice them
Take all the grinding ingredients in a plate
Add them to the blender
Crush it lightly
Clean the sides 
Add little to make it a smooth paste
Now it's done
Transfer them to a bowl
Add in turmeric powder
Give it a good mix
Add the fish and mix well, marinate for 15 to 30 mins 
masala should be coated with fish 
Heat a pan with coconut oil
Add the fish on it
After 1 min flip it up
Cook till golden brown
Take them out
Drain it tissue papper
Serve hot with lemon
