BBQ Chicken Legs / Oven Roasted Chicken Legs With A Twist

 

Barbeque chicken, yummy, delicious, lipsmacking chicken dish... Love it to the core... This recipe of mine is truely finger licking good...

This chicken dish is so easy to make, you just need chicken, Barbeque sauce and few ingredients... The chicken after it is baked turns out soooo juicy, moist and delicious... When i prepare full BBQ chicken at home my son told me to prepare BBQ chicken legs.. so i prepare this recipe for mu lovely son.. he enjoy this chicken...


Many of my page viewers have been asking for chicken recipes... Its been a while since i posted chicken recipes... So here i am with a waesome simple chicken dish that taste heavely... I made this last week for dinner and we had it with some Egg fried rice, chilli paneer you can try that too...

Preparation time : 10 mins
Marination time : 2 hour
Baking time : 45 to 50 mins
Serve - 3 or 4

INGREDEINTS :

Chicken legs - 3
Butter / Barbeque sauce - for brush it on the top.

FOR FIRST MARINATION :

Chilli powder - 1 tspn
Kashmir chilli powder - 1 tspn
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbspn
Lemon - 1/2 
Garam masala powder - 1 tspn
Salt - 1 tspn

FOR SECOND MARINATION :

Barbeque sauce - 3/4 cup or as needed
Black salt - 1 tspn
Butter - 1 tbspn
Olive oil - 2 tbspn
Oregano - 1 tspn

 METHOD :


  • Take chicken legs and make slashes on it..
  • Along with the chicken add in first marination ingredients and mix well
  • Now place it in a microwave safe bowl and cook it for 5 mins..
  • Now remove to from the microwave abd let it cool..
  • Then in a same bowl add in second marination ingredients and mix well with your hands...
  • Now add in chicken and spread it evenly..
  • Leave it to marinate for 2 hour in fridge... 
  • Remove it from the fridge 30 mins before cooking..

BAKE THE CHICKEN :


  • Now preheat th eoven to 250 degree C
  • Line the baking tray with foil and oil it lightly..
  • Place the chicken it the tray and bake it for 10 mins.. Remove it from the oven..
  • Now reduce the temp to 150 degreeC
  • In a bowl add butter and sauce mix well and brush topside with sauce generously..
  • Flip it over and brush somemore sauce over it... Bake it for 15 mins..
  • Remove it, Flip it over again and brush somemore sauce over it... Bake it for 15 mins..
  • Remove it, Flip it over again and brush somemore sauce over it... Bake it for 10 mins..
  • Now remove it from oven an dbrush with little sauce and serve.

PICTORIAL :



Take chicken legs and make slashes
 Add in chilli powders
 Ginger garlic paste 
 Squeeze lemon juice
 Garam masala powder
 Mix well
 I forget to add salt
 Again mix well
 In side the chicken
 Now place it in the microwave safe bowl
 Now it's done
 Place it in the oven for 5 mins
Inbetween filp it
Now it's done
 In the same bowl add in black salt
 BBQ sauce
 Spoon of butter
 Oregano
 Some oilve oil
 Mix well
 Now the mixing is done
 Add the chicken one by one and 
spread sauce allover the chicken
 Like all the chicken
 Now it's done
 Cover it with plastic wrap
 Let it rest for 2 hour in fridge
After 2 hours open it
See the chicken absorb well
 You need some BBQ sauce and a spoon of butter
Line a tray with foil and oil it slightly
Place the chicken in the tray and bake them on high heat, 
this seal the juices in the chicken
Now the chicken is done
Now the chicken is all seared, flip over
Brush some sauce
Again bake
Flip over the chicken
Again brush some sauce
Flip over and bake
Now it's done
Brush some sauce over the chicken
That's it... Brush little sauce over it 
Serve hot with lemon wedges
Enjoy...
