Easy Bread Gulab Jamun



Bread Gulab Jamun is very simple and very easy to prepare and is a quick alternative to the regular Gulab jamuns... You can use leftover bread also for this recipe... Soon i will post gulab jamun with milk powder...This gulab jamuns are look amazing to inpress suprise guests this diwali..Unless thay state that these gulab jamuns are made with bread and milk the person will never be able to trace the differents....

Gulab jamuns are made in almost in all houses for diwali.. Try it... Bread jamun is very tasty and pretty soft too. So to celebrate this special occasion I am delivering you this awesome recipe... 




You can make this for parties or for kids, this hardly take us anytime to make but the result is pretty immpressive.... Hope you must this recipe for this diwali and let me know waht you think....


Preparation time : 10 mins
Cooking time : 20 mins
Serve : 3

INGREDIENTS :

Bread - 6 slices
Milk - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Water - 1/2 cup
Cardamom powder / Yelakai - 1/2 tspn

METHOD :

  • Cut off the rims of the bread pieces and dip them im milk..
  • Squeeze off the excess and put it in a bowl..
  • Mix with your hands for few times so that it is lump free.
  • Now make small balls out of it and fry them in hot oil in a low flame..
  • Fry till golden, remove it to a paper towel..
  • Make sugar syrup by taking sugar in a sauce pan..
  • Add in water and cardamom powder and bring to boil..
  • Boil for 5 mins or till it reach sticky stage.
  • Now thake sugar syrup in a bowl and drop the fried jamuns and leave it for 3 hours...
  • Let it rise before serving ..
  • Serve it with icecream or own...


NOTES :

  1. You can blend the squeeze bread in a blender to lumb free..
  2. The gulab jamuns will turns hard, if you apply too much pressure..
  3. Not to fry the balls too mush golden or else it wont absorb the sugar syrup..
  4. You keep the flame on high, the jamuns will turn brown faster but inside will remain uncooked..
  5. Fry it in low flame..
  6. Put the jamuns in hot sugar syrup so they absorb it...
  7. You can enjoy with icecream also


PICTORIAL :

Take your ingredients
Make syrup for that, suagr in a sauce pan
Some cardamom powder
And water
Allow to sticky consistency, keep aside
Take bread slices
Cut off the rims
Take milk in a wide bowl
Dip the both sides of bread in the milk
Take it out
Suqeese excess milk
Repeat the same for all the breads
Now take them in a bowl
Make bread dough into balls
Drop them slowly in the hot oil
Leave it for 2 mins, keep it low flame
Now it's half done
Keep rotating the ladle
Drain it
In paper towel
Take syrup in a bowl
Drop the fried jamuns in the syrup leave it for 3 hours
Serve 
Enjoy...
