Ginger Tea / Inchi Chai


You must have familiar with the love of chai and my aunty is lover of this tea.. I love to try different ways of making tea... One of the most commonly made tea in our house is this ginger tea... My family love it all time... There is nothing more comforting than this tea on a cold winter day...



I made a masala kadalai on that day to go with this tea... and will post that soon... You can also serve this teas with any snacks items that i have already post in my blog....

Preparation time : 10 mins
Cooking time : 15 mins
Serve - 3
Recipe cuisine - South Indian..

INGREDIENTS :

Milk - 300 ml
Water - 150 ml
Sugar - as needed
Tea powder - 2 tbspn (we use three roses, you can use any brand)
Ginger - 2 tbspn (crushed)

METHOD :

  • Add crushed ginger in a sauce pan.. 
  • Add in water, tea powder and mix well.
  • Simmer this for 5 mins till all essence of the tea get into the water..
  • Add in milk and bring to boil..simmer for 2 or 4 mins..
  • Now take a bowl add in sugar, Now strain the tea through a tea stainer..
  • Mix it well.. Serve hot...


PICTORIAL :


Take your ingredients
Crush the ginger
In a sauce pan add in crushed ginger
Add in water
Tea powder
Now heat it for 5 mins
Till all essence of the tea get into the water 
Now it almost done
Add in milk
Bring to boil 
Now off the stove 
In a bowl add in sugar
Take tea strainer
Pour the tea 
Now mix well
Take your serving glass
Pour the flavourful tea
Take great with any fried snacks..
Enjoy..
