Mixed Vegetable Pakoda / Vegetable 65


The crispy Mixed vegetable pakodas / Vegetables 65 are an all time favourite and tastiest snacks in india.. These are easy and simple to make, indian starter prepared with mixed vegetables are dipped in batter and deep fried them in oil and then they are toss along with onion ring and black salt...


This are great for kids as well, you can hide lot of vegetables inside this pakodas and deep fried it and they are not going to find it... They really enjoyed this Hot...Hot.. Crispy, crunchy this fried 65 and ask for more after having it..

INGREDIENTS :

FOR VEGETABLES :

Carrot - 1 (slice them into strips)
Beans - 3 (slice them into strips)
Potato - 1 (cut them into squares)
Cauliflower - 2 big florets (chopped)
Capsicum - 1/2 (cut them into squares)

FOR BATTER :

Rice flour / Arisi Mavu - 3 tbspn
Gram flour / Kadalia mavu - 2 tbspn
All purpose flour - 2 tbspn
Corn flour - 2 tbspn
Chilli powder - 1 tbspn
Ginger agrlic paste - 1 tspn
Garam masala powder - 1 tspn
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn
Red food colour - a pinch
Salt - as needed
Water - as needed

TO TEMPER :

Onion - 1 (make it as a rings)
Black salt - as needed

METHOD :

  • Cut all the vegetables except cabbage, add them to the hot water and wash well.
  • Drain it and keep aside..
  • In a mixing Bowl add in all ingredients given in the heading "FOR BATTER" and mix it lightly..
  • Now slowly add water to form a dosa batter consistency..
  • Add in washed vegetables and cabbage and mix well...
  • Let it rest for 30 mins, after that heat a pan with oil and deep fry it till crispy an dgolden..
  • Drain it in kitchen tissue and repeat the process for all the veggies..
  • Heat another pan with oil and add in onion rings and toss lightly..
  • Add in fried vegetables and sprinkle some black slat over the vegetables..
  • Now toss well and serve hot..
  • Enjoy...

NOTED :

  1. You can use any vegetables instead of these veggies..
  2. The batter should be little thick, so the masala coated well on veggies..
  3. Fry the vegetables, till crispy and add the vegetables part by part, so they fry crispy and crunchy..
  4. Toss the onion rings lightly in oil...


PICTORIAL :


Prepare all your vegetables
Wash them in hot water
Let they stay for 5 mins
Drain it
Take all the flour in a mixing bowl
Add in remaining ingredinets 
Mix it lightly
Slowly add water 
To make  asmooth thick paste
In this consistency
Add in vegetables
Add in cabbage
Mix well and let they rest for 30 mins
Heat a pan with oil for deep frying
Drop the vegetable one by one
Fry till crispy and golden colour
Drain it in tissue paper
Take all the ingredients 
Heat a pan with oil
Add in onion rings
Toss it lightly
Add in fried vegetables
Add some black salt, mix well
Serve hot
