Cheese Stuffed Potato Balls / Aloo Cheese Balls


Potato cheese balls is a mouth - melting indian snack dish, loved by kids and adults... Here tiny potato balls are made with boiled potatoes and stuffing with a piece of cheese.. After deep frying, these potato cheese balls looks really yummy and cheesy literally melts in your mouth... This evening snacks is quickly made at home, if boiled potatoes are already available...

But this is a signature dish at home, and i got lot of applause from my family after making this snacks dish.. So i though to share with all of my readers...




While doing the preparation of these aloo cheese ball, i saw the cheese got stuffing in the center and realized that this is going to be so good.. I was eagerly waiting for this and was exicited to see the results, I cut those balls in half, there was a little suprise waiting for me in the middle, and that was the gooey cheesy goodness... So i hope that you must this snacks for your kids and make them a little suprise...

Cooking time : 15 mins
Resting time : 1 hour

INGREDIENTS :

Potataoes - 2 (large boiled and mash)
Onion - 1 (chopped)
Tomato ketch up - 1 tbspn
Salt - as needed
Pepper powder - 1 tspn
Corn flour - 2 tbspn
Water - 3 tbspn
Bread crumbs - 1 cup
Mozarella cheese - as needed (cut into small cubes)
Oil - for deep frying..

METHOD :

  • Heat oil in a kadai.. Add in chopped onion and saute for a min..
  • Add in tomato ketchup, salt and pepper to taste and mix well.
  • Add in potatoes and mix well... Allow this to cool down..
  • Divide this into equal portions.. roll it into balls..
  • Take one ball and stuff it with small piece of cheese in the center and cover from all sides..
  • Do the same to every balls..
  • Mix cornflour with some water to form a thin liquid..
  • Take bread crumbs in a plate and set aside..
  • Now take the cheese stuffed ball and dip them in cornflour liquid 
  • And them roll them tightly in bread crumbs..
  • Do the same to evry balls..
  • Now keep it in fridge for 1 hour.
  • Now heat oil for deep frying and fry this balls till golden brown..
  • Drain it in paper towel and serve with ketchup..
  • Enjoy..


PICTORIAL :


Take all your ingredients
Boiled some potatoes
Mash it well
Heat a pan with oil and add in onion
Toss well
Toss till transparent
Add in some ketchup
Add in salt
Add in pepper powder
Toss well 
Add in coriander leaves
  Add in boiled potatoes
Toss well
Transfer it into bowl
Cut the cheese into square
Take a small portion of dough
Roll it into ball
Flatten it
Place the cheese in the centre
Shape into ball
 All are done
Take some cornflour in a bowl
Add some water
Mix well
Take some bread crumbs in a palte
Dip the potato ball in cornflour
And roll it in bread crumbs
Till completely rolled
Place it in a plate
All done
Keep it in fridge for 1 hour
Heat a pan with oil
Drop it carefully
Fry till golden brown
Fry it on both sides
Drain it in kitchen towel
Serve with ketchup
Enjoy...
