Egg Thokku / Egg masala curry for briyani is a best pair with White briyani, Mild pulaos and chapathi.....I've been making this egg masala (muttai masala) since the day i got hold of this recipe. we loved it for the brust of masala flavours with a thick and hot gravy perfect pair with briyani especially white briyani that i have prepared yesterday... it was yummy and delicious....
Through the days, i have adjusted the recipe according to our taste buds and last time I made it specifically to click and post here....It is very quick and easy recipe that can made within 20 mins... with normal ingredients...But taste is amazing...You may also click my other egg recipe in my blog....

INGREDIENTS :
Eggs - 4 (hard boiled)
Fennel seeds - 1/2 tspn
Onion - 2 (chopped)
Tomato - 2 (chopped)
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 2 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/4 tspn
Cumin powder - 1/4 tspn
Coriander leaves - few
Salt - as needed
Gingelly oil - 4 tsp
METHOD :
- First boiled the eggs and break open to remove the shell...
- Make slashes in the eggs and keep aside.
- In a kadai and add in fennel seeds and allow to crackle..
- Now add in chopped onions and saute it well..
- Then add in tomatoes and fry it till mushy.
- Now add in ginger garlic paste, and all the whole spices, then saute it well untill it became gravy texture...
- If needed add some water....(very little)
- Now add in salt and give a mix.
- Then add some water to it and allow to became thick gravy...
- When it's in perfect stage, drop in slashed boiled eggs. Let it simmer for 5 mins.
- Atlast add in chopped coriander leaves anf mix well..
- When oil float on the top of gravy, switch off the flame..
- Now it's ready to serve...
PICTORIAL :
Take all whole spices powder
Boil the eggs and break open to remove the shell
Slit the eggs with a knife
Heat a pan with oil an dadd in fennel seeds
Then chopped onionsWhen it became transparent
Add in ginger garlic paste
Toss well
Add in chopped tomatoes
Toss well for 2 mins
Now add in all spices powder
Toss well
Add in little bit of water to avoid smoke
Add in some salt
When it cooked and became thick gravy
Drop the egg carefully
Give a light mix
Add in chopped coriander leaves
If needed sprinkle some water
Simmer for 5 mins
After 5 mins transfer it into a bowl
Serve
