This is a quick and easy chicken sidedish recipe for any mild pulao, fried rice, noodles, any indo chinese recipes.. But taste is extremely yummy delicious, lip smacking and finger licking one... Love it to the core... Usually i added a pinch of red chilli powder along with the chinese dish that gives excallant taste to the dish....
Once we went to Nagarcoil to my friend home (Aathi) she prepared cashew chicken served with jeera rice, garlic naan soya mutton fry... The taste was amazing, superb and we enjoyed it... so that i wants to try the same recipe for long time, but last week i make this dish at my mom's house, it was really superb and everyone enjoyed it...

INGREDIENTS :
Boneless chicken - 1/2 kg (chopped into small pieces)
FOR BATTER :
Cornflour - 1/2 cup
Egg - 1
Black pepper powder - 1 tspn
Salt - as needed
Oil for frying
FOR SAUCE :
Oil - 1 tbspn
Cashew - 15 nos
Onion - 1 medium (finely chopped)
Green chillies - 3 (sliced)
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
Chilli garlic sauce - 1 tspn
Red chilli sauce - 1 tbspn
Tomato sauce - 2 tbspn
Green chilli sauce - 1 tspn
Soy sauce - 1 tsp
Vinegar - 1 tspn
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Salt - if needed
METHOD :
- Mix all the sauce and red chilli in a bowl. set aside.
- Now mix egg, salt, pepper, cornflour in a bowl..
- Wash the chicken pieces with little turmeric powder..
- Add in chicken in and mix well... drop the chicken into hot oil and fry till golden...
- Drain and set aside...
- Now start making sauce, for that heat oil in pan, add in cashew and fry till golden..
- Add in chopped onions mix well. Add in chillies and saute till golden..
- Now add in the sauce and mix well.. Heat this till it is thick.
- Drop fried chicken in, add in chilli garlic sauce and toss well
- Add in chopped coriander leaves and toss. Serve hot...
PICTORIAL :
Take all the sauces
In a bowl add in tomato sauce
Green chilli sauce
Add in red chilli sauce
Add in chilli garlic sauce
Some soy sauce
A dash of vinegar
Good amount of chilli powder
Mix well, keep aside
Crack open a egg in a bowl
Add in cornflour
Few pepper powder
Add in salt
Mix well
Add in chicken pieces
Mix well...
Now take all the ingredients
Heat a pan with oil
Drop the chicken pieces
Leave it for 30 secs
Give a mix
Now drain them
All beautifully fried...Keep aside
Heat oil in a pan
Add in cashew
Fry till golden
Add in chopped onions
Add in sliced green chillies
Toss well
Add in the sauces
Saute well till it done..
Add in fried chicken into the sauce
Toss well
Add few drops of chilli garlic sauce
Mix evenly
Add in chopped coriander leaves
Mix well
Serve hot
