Corn cheese balls is a perfect starter recipe and will be loved by all age groups and kids will love for sure as it has best combination of sweet corn and cheese in it.. When my kids holidays started I had few recipes in mind and one among them was this corn cheese balls.
I t was a double bonanza for me to click pictures and serve her favourite too.. As it's raining here, is a excuse for deep fried snacks now.. I tasted this in one food court, it was a great get together and i tasted only one at a time and it was delicious.. So i trey this recipe and it turns out tasty and very well with simple ingredients...

INGREDIENTS :
Potato - 1 (large, boiled)
Sweet Corn - 1 cup
Potato - 1 (large boiled)
All purpose flour / Maida - 2 tbspn
Corn flour - 1 tbspn
Chilli powder - 1 tspn
Pepper powder - 1 tspn
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tspn
Oregano - 1/2 tspn
Cheese - 1/2 cup (grated)
Salt - as needed
Oil - for frying
FOR COATING :
All purpose flour / Maida - 2 tbspn
Bread crumbs - as needed
Water - 2 tbspn
METHOD :
- Take sweet corn in a microwave safe bowl and pop it microwave oven for 1 mins.
- And make it s coarse paste and keep aside..
- Take all ingredients together in a bowl with crushed boiled corn and make it a dough.. and shape it into balls.
- In a bowl take maida and mix it with little water, keep aside.
- Take bread crumbs in a wide plate, keep aside.
- Now dip the balls in maida mixture and roll it in bread crumbs..
- Make the balls and keep i fride for 1 hour..
- Heat a pan with oil, in low flame.
- Fry them in a heat oil till golden brown..
- Drain it tissue paper and serve with ketchup
- Enjoy..
PICTORIAL :
Take all the ingredients
Take Corn in a microwave safe bowl
Pop it in the microwave for 1 mins
Remove it from the oven
Take it to the blender
Crush it lightly
Take boiled potato in a bowl and mash it with fork
Add crushed corn
Add in grated cheese
Add in maida, corn flour
Add in peper powder
Add in garam masala powder
Add in chilli powder
Add in oregano
Add in salt
Mix well to form a dough
Arrange them in a plate
Take maida and bread crumbs in a plate
Mix maida with little water
Dip it in maida mixture
Coat it well
Roll it in bread crumbs
Coat it evenly
Take it in a plate
Now all are done
Keep it in fridge for 1 hour
Heat oil in a pan
Drop ball safely
Fry till golden
Fry it batch wise
Till golden brwon
Take it away
Drain it in tissue paper
Transfer it into a plate
Serve hot
