Chatpata Chana


A chatpata chana recipe to spice up your day. The boiled chana is tossed with delectable mix of spices gives execellant taste to the recipe... It is an indian recipe as well as punjabi dish serve as a evening snacks. The mouthwatering chatpata chana is very spicy, tangy, and it is quick and easy to make..



The recipe i have made which is liked by all and it contains the mixture of spices, chana, finely chopped onions, chopped raw mangoes, fried ginger and green chillies. Acually time saving food as me.. In the busy world most of the people both husband and wife were work so this recipe becomes the yummy veggie preparation in less time when you get the carving of eating something like this..

INGREDIENTS :

Chana dal - 1 cup
Salt - 1 tsp
Water - 2 cup

FOR MASALA :

Oil - 2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tspn
Chaat masala - 1 tsp
Amchoor powder - 1/2 tsp
Pepper power - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
Roasted jeera powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp


FOR GARNISH :

  1. Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
  2. Raw mango - small pieces (finely chopped)
  3. Green chillies chopped and ginger sticks (toss it oil for 1 mins)


METHOD :

  • In a bowl take chana and soak it over night.
  • In pressure cooker add soaked chana, salt and water,whistled it for 3.
  • In a pan add oil and boiled chana toss well.
  • Now add in all spices and salt, mix well.
  • Leave it for 5 mins in low flame. untill the chana absorb the spices.
  • Atlast add in chopped onion and raw mango and toss lightly..
  • Now plated it with fried chillies and ginger pieces.
  • Serve hot..


PICTORIAL :



Take chana in a bowl
Add in water
Soaked over night
Now add to cooker with water
Some salt
Whistled it for 3
Now it's done 
Take your ingredients
In a pan add oil and boiled chana
Add all whole spices
Toss well in oil 
Leave it for 5 mins
Now add in chopped onion, raw mango
Toss lightly
Now it's done
Garnish with fried chillies and ginger pieces
Enjoy..
