Posting one more oats recipe that has became a part of our menu now... Simple easy to prepare and makes for a nutritious breakfast or dinner.. I have already post Oats onion uttappam in my blog... Which is superb and soft dosa recipe... So i think it of to make it crispy dosa.. Here the batter is thin as like as rava dosa batter so i became more crispy and the important thing is the addition of curd gives a slight sour taste which tastes good...
When i made these oats dosa for the first time, my kids couldn't believe that there were oats in them... They were so good, crisp, lacy and healthy too... It is made quick and no fermentation is requried in this recipe... Hope you must try this recipe and let me know how it's comes out from you....
Preparation time : 15 mins
Cooking time : 6 to 8 mins (for one dosa)
Serve - 10 to 12 dosas

INGREDIENTS :
Oats - 1 cup
Rice flour - 1/2 cup
Rava / Semolina - 1/2 cup
Curd / Yogurt - 1 cup
Onion - 1/2 cup (chopped finely)
Green chillies - 1 tspn (chopped)
Ginger - 1 tspn (chopped)
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Curry leaves - few (chopped)
Water - 1 1/2 cups
Salt - as needed
Oil - for preparing dosa..
METHOD :
- Take oats in a blender to a fine powder..
- Now that oats powder in a mixing bowl.. Then add in rice flour, rava and mix well.
- Add in fresh curd, a cup of water, salt and mix it to a smooth consistency without any lumps..
- Add in chopped onion, chilli, ginger, coriander leaves, curry leaves.. stir well again..
- Keep it for 10 mins and add in another 1/2 cup of water and check the consistency..
- It should be thin and flowing like rava dosa batter..
- Heat a pan and take a ladle ful of batter and pour it from the circumference to the centre..
- Sprinkle som eoil around the sides..
- When the base became crisp, flip and cook the another side..
- Once the base became crisp, flip and cook the another side..
- Flip two more times... so it became more crispy...
- Take in a plate and serve hot..
PICTORIAL :
Take a cup of oats
Add it to a blender
Make it a fine powder
Add it to a mixing bowl
Add in rava
Then rice flour
Give it a mix
Add in curd
Mix well
Mix well into a smooth batter
Add in salt and mix well
Keep aside for 10 mins
Chopped all your veggies
Take the batter, give it a mix
Add in all veggies
Give it a mix and check the consistency
Now take a ladle ful of batter
Pour it to a hot tawa
Roll it from the circumference to the centre
Sprinkle some oil
Once it became brown and crisp, flip it
Again flip to make it more crispy
Fold it into half
Take it to a serving plate
Now it's ready
