Hope all of you had wounderful and happiest Diwali celebrations? It's time to share what I actually made for this diwali at home... Let's we see how to make Pottukadalai Arisi Murukku Recipe, which is a crispy, crunchy, east savoury snacks popular in india especially south india...
It is a simple and didn't need lengthy process, you can made this murukku in a jiffy.. It is very crispy to munch on... So kids really loved it... But a common mistake people do is quandity of the flour, and gram flour, so please stick to the measurements to get a perfect crispy murukku and it very light without adding any butter...

Cooking Time : 5 mins per batch
Makes - 2 cups of murukku

INGREDIENTS :
Riceflour / Arisi mavu - 1 1/4 cups
Pottukadalai / Roasted gram - 1/4 cup
Asafoetida / Hing - 1 pinch
Ajwain / Omam - 1 tspn
Oil - 2 tspn + for deep frying
Salt - as needed
METHOD :
- Grind roasted gram to a fine powder in a fry mixer..
- Heat oil in a kadai for deep frying..
- Take all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, add hot oil from the kadai and mix well..
- Add water carefully to make a smooth dough.. (but little stiff)
- Take your favourite mould (atchu).
- Fill the press with dough and squeeze over the hot oil.
- Once they fried (shh sound will be reduce) take them and drain it in tissue paper..
- Cool down befor transfer them into a air tight container...
- Enjoy with a cup of tea..
PICTORIAL :
Take all your ingredients
Take roasted gram in a blender
Grind them into a fine powder
Take ric eflour in a mixing bowl
Add in gram powder
Add in ajwain
A pinch of asafoetida
Add in salt
Mix well and add in some hot oil

Mix well by adding water
The dough should be little stiff
Take your mould
Fill the press with dough
Heat a pan with oil
Squeeze the press in oil
Allow to fry
Now give it a mix
When the shh sould reduce
Drain it in tissue paper
Serve hot
