Caramel Custard Dessert / Caramel Pudding

This is a recipe which is most popular pudding for ever.. Something made me to wait for this special day to post this wounderful recipe..


The taste of this recipe is depending on it's caramel...which you make... You make this caramel very caramel... I know you will surely try this on this christmas... When you take the first bite is the melting moment of your heart...Here Iam using custard mix powder without eggs, but the really one is they add eggs. It was tooooo good to have...Soon i posted custard pudding with egg...


I prepared this for my sister, she really enjoyed this pudding a bit more than other pudding.. Allow this caramel to spread all bottom of the container to use for setting the pudding fully.... I posted few recipes in my blog using caramel and custard..

Preparation time : 5 mins
Cooking time : 15 to 20 mins
Setting Time : 2 hours..
Serve - 4 bowl..

INGREDIENTS :

Milk - 1/2 lit / 500 ml
Custard powder - 100 grams (Instant mix)

FOR CARAMEL :

Sugar - 50 grams
Caramel essance - 1 tspn
Water - 1 tbspn

METHOD :

  • Start by making the caramel.. In a non-stick pan add sugar and 1 tbspn of water..
  • Swirl the pan to help it to melt down..
  • Let the caramel come to boil allow it to bubble up..
  • Add in caramel.. till it turns golden brown.. 
  • Don't stir the pan which results in a sticky caramel... 
  • Pour this caramel in your bowl or pan which you want the mold..
  • (I use 4 bowl to make custard caramel pudding)
  • Spread it evenly or rotate the bowl, so that the caramel is fully spread in the bowl.. keep aside.
  • Now in a sauce pan add in milk and bring to boil..
  • Simmer the stove and add in caramel powder or mix ..
  • Whisk it gentle and keep mixing for 5 mins..
  • Then off the stove and pour to the prepared bowl..
  • Allow to cool a bit.. Put into fridge for around 3 hours...
  • Now release the sides with a knife and plce a plate over the plate..
  • Holding the plate carefully, invert the bowl.
  • Now tap the top of the bowl carefully..
  • Wow yummy caramel custard pudding is ready.. 
  • Serve chilled..

PICTORIAL :



Take your ingredients
In a non- stick pan add in sugar
Add some water
Dont's mix it with spoon till you reach a golden caramel
Let it bring to boil
You can swirl the pan but never stir
It come to bubbles a lot
Add in caramel essance
Now it has a got golden brown
It's nealy there..
Now it have the perfect caramel
Golden.. yummy..
Now pour it into the bowl
Swirl it to spread all over the bowl, keep aside
Now add milk in a sauce pan
When it bring to boil
Add in instant custard powder
Swril it well
Keep mixing, it for 5 mind 
Now it's done
Pour it to the prepared bowl
Now chilled the custard for 3 hour
Now it's done
Invert it in a plate, Flip it up side down
 Carefully remove the bowl
Wow yummy...
