Potato Lollipops / Aloo Lollipops


Potato lollipop recipe is one more easy finger food recipes for toddlers/ kids... Very very simple and quick to make, thi spotato lollipop will be a great after school snack or even breakfast... It is loveable recipe for tooddlers and kids made with boiled potatoes and few spices powder.. When it comes to feeding a toddlers, veriety plays a huge role...


It could be same ingredients and spices, but the way you present it counts a lot, just like in potato lollipop recipe... This is a real fun food for toddlers and kids with cup of milk or milk shakes...My son was hungry when he return from school, so i made some snacks for him.. When i made this lollipop for him, he really enjoyed with tomato ketch up...

Makes - 6 to 8 lollipop

INGREDIENTS :

Potato - 2 large (boiled and mash)
Onion - 1 (chopped finely)
Green chilli - 1 (chopped finely)
Curry leaves - few
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Chilli powder - 1/2 tspn (you can adjust accoring to your taste)
Coriander powder - 1/2 tspn
Cumin powder - 1/2 tspn
Salt - as needed

FOR ROLLING AND FRYING :

Corn starch - 2 tbspn
Water - 2 tbspn
Bread crumbs - 1 cup
Oil - for frying...

METHOD :

  • Take your potatoes and boiled in pressure cooker..
  • And peel the skin and mash it with fork in a mixing bowl..
  • Mix all the ingredients given in the list..
  • Make it like a dough, and roll it into a medium size ball..keep aside.
  • Now in a small bowl add cornstarch and water make it a thin paste.
  • Then dip the potato balls in he coen mixture and roll it in a breadcrumbs..
  • Drop it in the heat oil and fry till golden brown..
  • Drain it in tissue paper or paper towel.
  • Let it cool for 5 mins..
  • Now insert lollipop sticks or snack pickers into each lollipop..
  • Serve potato lollipop with ketchup..
  • Enjoy..


PICTORIAL :


Take all your ingredients
Now take boiled potatoes in a boil
Peel the skin and mash it with fork
Now add in all spices powder
Now add in onion, chilli, curry leaves and coriander leaves
Make it like a dough
Roll it into small balls
Now prepare your ingredients for frying
Take a potato ball
Take a ball and dip into the corn mixture
Roll it in the bread crumbs
Now all are done
Fry it in hot oil
Leave it for 2 mins
Flip over, cook till golden brown on both sides
Now all are done
Take your snacks sticks
Insert lollipop sticks into each lollipop 
Now serve with ketchup
Enjoy..
