Chicken Sanwich with Homemade Mayo


Hai friends... Iam having a great weekend.. I made homemade Eggless mayonnaise yesterday and it comes out yummy with plain roasted bread... which i posted yesterday evening.. Today recipe is to be chicken sandwich.. This is one version of making this, i will post the another version of chicken sandwich soon..Keep watching.



This is creamy and mild chicken sandwich which is sutiable for kids.. First prepare the chicken, as same as Chicken Shawarma which i have already posted in my blog... Mix the prepared chicken with veggies and Homemade mayonnaise.. and stuff inside the slices... My son enjoyed this with a cup of milk...

Preparation time : 10 mins

Cooking time : 20 mins
Serve - 6 slices


INGREDIENTS :




FOR CHICKEN :




Chicken - 500 grams (boneless thinly sliced)

Thick curd / yogurt - 4 tbspn
Lemon juice - 1 tbspn
Crushed pepper  - 1 tbspn
White pepper powder - 1 tbspn
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tspn
Oregano - 1 tbspn
Garlic - 6 (cloves chopped finely)
Salt - as needed
Olive oil - 2 tbspn
Butter - 2 tbspn (for tossing)

FOR SANDWICH :


Bread slice - 12

Onion - 2 (sliced)
Capsicum - 1/2 cup
Pepper powder - 1 tspn
Red pepper sauce - 1 tbspn
Salt - as neede 
Butter - for bread

METHOD :


  • Mix all ingredients given in above " FOR CHICKEN" except butter and leave it to marinate for 15 mins.
  • Now heat a pan with some butter, add chicken let's it cook and get some colour change as well...
  • When it became tender, remove it to a bowl.

FOR SANDWICH :

  • In a mixing bowl add in prepared chicken, onion, capsicum, salt, pepper, red pepper sauce....
  • Add mayonnaise with this and mix well. 
  • Now take the bread slice and spread some butter on it..
  • Place this chicken stuffing in the centre and spread..
  • And sandwich it with another butter grease bread...
  • Cut into two slices and serve..
  • Enjoy...


PICTORIAL :


 Take ingredients to marinate chicken
Slice the chicken into thin strips
 Add in chopped garlic
 Add in pepper powder, white pepper and garam masala
 Some oregano
 Yogurt
 Some salt
 Few drops of lemon juice
 Some olive oil
 Now it's done
 Mix well
 Heat a kadai with butter
 Add in marinate chicken
 Cook well in low flame
 Give a mix, till cooked
When the chicken became tender, off the stove
Take some chicken pieces in a mixing bowl...
Few sliced onion
Some capsicum
Few drops of red pepper sauce
Done
Give a mix
Apinch of salt
Sprinkle some pepper powder
Now the filling is ready...
Butter the bread
Both the slice
Stuff this in bread slice
Now it's done and cut into two half
Insert a tooth pic 
Serve with tomato sauce
