Generally these muliks as they are called by some konkanis or modaks ( as they are called at our place) are prepared with banana. Some people prepared them using jackfruit also. On one day my neighbour gave me few cashew fruits to eat so I eat it in raw but it taste should totally different than other ordinary fruits.
So i plan to prepared sweet with that. Usually we make appam in maida, wheat flour but i think it off to make some more different. Mostly cashew fruits have a very strong smell which is not liked by many of the peoples. I also not a great fan of these fruits.
But my family members really liked it and enjoyed it so try this recipe at home and enjoy it different taste and let me tell how it is....

Frying time 4 - 5 mins

INGREDIENTS :
Cashew fruit - 2
Coconut - 1 cup (grated)
Sooji - 1/2 cup
Jaggery - 1/4 cup
Cashew - 5 (small pieces)
Cardomom - 1 tsp
Oil - for frying
METHOD :
- Peel of the skin from the cashew and cut it into small pieces.
- Grind the cashew fruit pieces and grated jaggery and add coconut, cordamom powder to the mixture and continue grinding.
- Take this smooth paste in a bowl. Keep aside.
- Now take a pan fry cashew pieces and sooji lightly....
- Mix sooji, cashew pieces with that paste and mix it well.
- Now heat a pan with oiland make small ball and deep fry in oil or ghee on low flame till they turns brown.
- It's ready to serve and enjoy......

Take ur ingredients
Take cashew fruits
Peel it off
Cut it into small pieces
Add jaggery to the mixture
Add in fruit
Grind it
Add coconut
Cordamom powder
Again grind
Add cashew pieces in a pan
Then sooji
Fry lightly
Transfer the fruit mix in a bowl
Add in fried sooji
Mix well
Heat a pan with oil
Fry it
Fry it till brown
Drain it in a tissue
Now it's ready
Serve hot
