Naan masala noodles


I had made this recipe using my leftover mint naan... I had chapathi noodles for thr first time in one of my cousin's place... Then saw this recipe in my friend blog... I think it to make a twist of this recipe i use naan instead of chapathy. I had some left over naan in today morning and wanted to try this and have it for lunch...


I modified the recipe a bit and followed my fried rice for this naan noodles.... Here i use cabbage, carrot and beans.. you can also use chapathi for naan in this recipe... It is very delicious and yummy to have as a breakfast or dinner..... This is a sure kid's menu and you can give this to your kid when he come back hungry from school...

INGREDIENTS :

Naan - 4 (cut into long strips)
Onion - 1 (sliced)
Garlic - 4 (chopped finely)
Green chilli - 3 (sliced)
Carrot - 1 (cut into strips)
Beans - 7 (chopped)
Cabbage - 1 small piece (sliced)
Pepper - 1 tspn
Garam masala powder - 1 tspn
Salt - as needed
Butter - 1 tbspn
Coriander leaves - few
Spring onions - few

INGREDEINTS :

  • Stack the Mint naan and cut them into half and cut them into long strips... 
  • Heat a pan with butter and add in chopped garlic and sliced onions and toss lightly..
  • Add in sliced chilli and toss again..
  • When onion became transparent add all veggies and mix well.
  • Now toss it for 5 min in the butter along with the onions..
  • Add in pepper powder, salt and mix well...
  • (Naan has salt, so add very little).
  • Then add in garam masala and toss well.
  • Stir well and add the cut strips of naan and toss well in the high flame to mix thoroughly..
  • Lastly garnish with finely chopped coriander and spring onion and serve immediately.

PICTORIAL :



Take your left over naan or chapathi
Cut into half
Then into long strips
Like this
Prepare your veggies
Heat a pan with butter
Add in garlic
Sliced onions and toss well
Then add in green chilli
Toss till transparent
Now add in all veggies
Add in pepper powder
Add little bit of salt
Toss it evenly
Add in garam masala powder
Mix well
Stir well for 5 mins
Now it 3/4 cooked
Add in naan strips
Mix evenly
Toss well
Chopped coriander and spring onions
Add to it and mix well
Serve in a serving plate
