Egg Puffs Using Homemade Pastry Sheets


Egg puffs is my hubby's favourite... I made this egg puffs in my kitchen with my Homemade Pastry sheets which i have already in my blog... I tried making in the same shape and covered the half egg from four sides the puffs like bakery shop... One day i was thinking so deeply about this and a wonderful idea struk my mind... I put the idea to make this egg puffs..


I made the spicy egg filling and stuffed it inside the sheets and baked it... Loved it to the core...It is so flacky and buttery, because there are lots of layer in them and was like it is crispy out side... Try this out and let me know how it turns out for you....





Preparation time : 15 mins
Baking time : 20 to 30 mins
Cooking time : 15 mins
Makes - 4 puffs

INGREDIENTS :

Homemade pastry sheets - 4

Egg - 1 (To brush it on the top)

FOR FILLING :


Oil - 1 tspn

Onion - 2 (s!iced)
Tomato - 1 (chopped)
Boiled egg - 2(sliced)
Chilli powder - 1 tspn
Garam masala powder - 1 tspn
Pepper powder - 1 tspn
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tspn
Salt - 1 tspn

METHOD :



  • Preheat the oven to 200 degree C. 
  • First boil the eggs and cut into half and keep aside...
  • Then prepare your veggies...
  • Heat a pan with oil, add in sliced onions toss well till it became transparent...
  • Now add in ginger garlic paste, and all the spices powder...
  • Then give a mix untill it became mushy.
  • Now  add in tomato and toss them.
  • The masala should blend with the onion...
  • Toss till the raw smell is gone..
  • Now add in sliced eggs and toss it lightly, then off the stove...
  • let the filling should be cool down..


FOR MAKING PUFFS :



  • Now puffs pastry sheets which i have already prepared.
  • place a pastry sheet in between the plastric wrap and extand it lightly..
  • Then add in egg filling in the centre of the sheet.
  • And fold the ends towords the centre and place it on the baking tray.
  • Then beaten a egg in a bowl and brush it on the top of the puffs.
  • Then bake it for 20 to 30 mins.. or till it done.
  • Serve hot with a cup of tea.


PICTORIAL :




Take your ingredients
Sliced your boiled eggs
Add oil and sliced onion in a kadai
Toss till transparent
Add in ginger garlic paste
Add spices powder
Add in chopped tomatoes
Toss well with some salt
It should be come like this
Place the sliced eggs on the gravy
Mix evenly and transfer it into the bowl
Prepare your pastry sheets
Place a sheet in between the plastic wrap and extand it 
Spoon some egg masala
Fold like this
Place it on the baking tray
Break egg in a bowl
Beat slightly
Brush it on the top of the egg puffs
Then bake it for 30 mins
Now it's done 
Serve hot
