Easy homemade cake recipe made completely with butter cream frosting...I am happy to say this cake was made for my son's 10th Birthday celebration... He ask me to prepare cake for his school friends, so plan to prepare this cake for him... When i prepared he was suprised to see and told that it is buy from the bakery shop mom? But i told no pa i made this for you and your friends... He gave me kisses by sharing his happiness...
He ask me to prepare 30 pieces of cake and packed together in a box... I added more vanilla extract to enhance the vanilla flavour...This vanilla cake is easy to make and impressive to serve... When he distribute the cake to his friends, they told that it superb and soft and my son was so happy to heard this type of comments from his friends... when he came from the school he hugged me tightly and share the happiest moments which held in this school...
I done another cake for my son's birthday party in the evening.. but that is fresh car cake.. That is my suprise gift to my son... soon i post that recipe also... Totally the day he enjoyed well, as a mom that is my happiness... You can also prepared beautiful cake and cupcakes for any other celebrations... Usually homemade cake are best than the store brought one...

Makes - 40 pieces
INGREDIENTS :
All purpose flour / maida - 350 grams
Sugar - 300 grams
Eggs - 8
Cake gel - 3 grams
Vanilla essence - 2 tspn
Butter - 150 grams
Baking powder - 5 grams
FOR DECORATING & FILLING :
Butter cream - 1 cup
Green food colour - 1 tspn
Lavender food colour - 1 tspn
Silver sugar balls - for toppings
METHOD :
- Preheat the oven to 180 degree / 350 degree F.
- First take rectangle baking tin for bake the cake..
- Butter a rectangle tin, on all sides too and Place patachment paper to cover the tin. keep aside for a moment...
- Take a flour and baking powder in a bowl and mix well. Set this too aside.
- Take sugar and butter in a mixing bowl and beat till the sugar dissolved..
- Now add egg one by one and beat till light and pale.
- Add cake gel, then add in both essence and again beat it well...
- Now sift in the flour mixture in this and fold gently untill combained.
- Pour this into the prepared tin and bake it for 40 - 45 mins untill it is light golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the tin for 10 mins. Remove it from the tin and allow it to cool down completely and tear the patchament paper.. and Let it cool completely
- While it is cool completely before icing...
FOR DECORATING THE CAKE :
- Prepare some butter cream frosting and divide it into two portion and mix colour lavender and green colour and keep aside....
- Take the cake and cut the top with your knife..
- And the middle too (into two half)... keep separately..
- Now take a plate and place one portion of cake.
- Then spread some green colour cream over trhis and place another cake over this...
- Again spread some green colour cream on the cake evenly...
- Now the cake is ready to cut evenly pieces..
- Decorate the cake as per your wish...
- I use lavender colour for top and spread some sugar balls also...
- Slice and admire the beauty....
PICTORIAL :
Take the rectangle baking tin
Place the patachment paper

Break the eggs in a bowl
Add sugar in a mixing bowl
Pour the eggs
Let's start beating
Beat well till the sugar melts
Mix the flour and baking powder
Add cake gel
Beat well
Till fluffy
Now your vanilla
Add flour to the mix
Beat well
Now add essence
Melted some butter
Pour it to the mixture and mix gently
Now it's done
Remove the beater
Pour it in the tin
Slowly
Done
Spread lightly
Now it's time to bake
Place it in the preheated oven
Now it's almost done
Now it is baked completely
Invert the cake
Tear the patachment paper
In the top too
Now the cake to cool completely
Slice the top portion of cake
And the middle too
Seperate the half in another plate
Take first half in a plate
Prepare some butter cream frosting
Take some green colour
Mix evenly
Spoon some cream on the cake
Spread it evenly
Place another slice of cake in the top

Now it's time to slice the cake
I divided it into 4 vertical lines
And then 6 horizontal lines

Prepare your lavender cream
Take a piping bag
I use this nozzle for the top
Decorate the cream like this
Now it's done
Take some sugar balls
Top it with some silver sugar balls
Now it's done
Pack like this
