I have tasted Mushroom pepper masala in restaurant and i wanted to recreate the hotel style pepper mushroom at home too. It is a spicy mushroom curry which goes well with naan, roti, or chapathi... Last time when i brought mushrooms they were a little so i didnt perpare the pepper masala... My son ask me to fry them... But now he ask me to prepared Naan and mushroom pepper masala
I prepared this mushroom pepper masala with mint naan which i posted later... But the combination turnesd out finger lickingly good that the curry was almost over soon after i cliked, So i made it again another cleaned batch of mushroom to pair it with corn pulao for lunch... I love mushroom and it can be made with super quick and simple recipe......

INGREDIENTS :
Butter - 2 tbspn
Onion - 2 (chopped finely)
Garlic - 7 (chopped finely)
Ginger - 1 tspn (chopped finely)
Red chilli - 3 (sliced)
Dry chilli - 6
Pepper powder - 2 tbspn
Tomato sauce - 1 1/2 tspn
Soya sauce - 1/2 tspn
Corn flour - 1 tbspn + 1tbspn of water
Coriander leaves - few
Salt - as needed
FOR FRYING :
Cleaned mushroom - 1 cup (chopped)
Pepper powder - 1 tspn
Corn starch - 1 tbspn
Rice flour - 1 tbspn
Salt - 1 tspn
Water - for dizzing
Oil - for frying
METHOD :
- Clean the mushroom and cut into big pieces..
- In a mixing bowl add in corn flour, rice flour, pepper powder and salt..
- Now add in mushroom and drizzled some water and mix well..
- Heat a pan with oil for deep frying...
- When the oil reach the smoke point drop the mushroom one by one and fry it..
- Now drain it in the papper towel to excess oil....Keep aside.
- Heat a pan with butter and add in Dry chilli, carlic and ginger, toss well in the butter.
- Now add in red chillies and onions and toss well..
- When it became transparent add in salt and pepper powder and mix well.
- Now add in Tomato sauce, soya sauce and toss along with the onions..
- Then add in fried mushrooms and mix well for 2 mins.
- Mushroom will well coated with the sauce and add in coriander leaves and mix well.
- Now in a small bowl add in corn flour mix it with water..
- Pour it to the gravy and saute well.
- Now the mushroom pepper masala is ready to serve with naan..
- Enjoy...
PICTORIAL :
Clean the mushrooms and cut into pieces
In a mixing bowl add in corn flour
Rice flour
Pepper powder
Salt
Add in cutted mushrooms
Mix well
Drizzled some water and mix well
Heat a pan with oil
Again mix well
Drop it one by one in the oil
Deep frying them
Fry till it became brown
Now it's done
Drain them in a tissue
Prepare your ingredients
Add butter to the pan
Add in dry chilli, garlic and ginger
Now add in onions and chillies
Toss till transparent
Add in salt
Pepper powder
Toss well along with onions
Add in tomato sauce
Soya sauce
Toss well
Now add in fried mushrooms
Mix well with the sauce
Add in coriander leaves
Mix well
Add in cornstarch
Saute well
Now it's ready
Transfer it into a serving bowl
Serve hot
