Paneer Cheese Cutlet


Paneer cheese cutlets is a items served as a evening snacks.. Paneer / Indian cottage cheese is such a versatile ingredients... They are vegetarians way of adding protein to your diet. We are all familier with curries and tikkas with paneer hence i wanted to share a snacks recipe with paneer and cheese so i making them into cutlets..



Paneer cheese cutlets are are soft and tasty in each and every bite.. My cousin ask me post paneer recipes because her hubby is favourite of paneer.... They are easy and quick to make. I love making snacks with paneer, After this paneer cutlets my favourite has been the paneer butter masala... 




If you have vegetarian guests at home, make them these easy and yummy sancks... So hope that you must give it a try and comments about the recipe...

INGREDIENTS :

Paneer - 1 cup (crumbled / shredded)
Potato - 1 large (cooked and mashed)
Cheese - 50 grams (shredded)
Garam masala powder - 1 tspn
All purpose flour / Maida - 2 tbspn + 2 tbspn of water
Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves and mint leaves - few (chopped)
Salt - as needed
Oil - for deep frying 

TO GRIND :

Gree chilli - 2 nos
Ginger - 1 small piece
Garlic - 4 cloves
Cumin - 1/4 tspn

METHOD :

  • Boil and mash the potatoes and set aside...
  • Then shredded the cheese and paneer and keep aside..
  • Now grind the grinding items into a coarse form and keep aside.
  • In a mixing bowl add in shredded paneer, cheese, grinded masala, potato, garam masala powder, salt, coriander and mint leaves and mix well with your hands...
  • Divide into equal size balls and roll them with little pressure. Lastly flatten it between palms.
  • Dip the cutlet in the maida/ flour paste and roll it on the bread crumbs..
  • Repeat this process for all cutlets... 
  • Heat oil in a kadai / wok, once medium hot add the cutlets and fry for 1 mins per side and flip gently fry further for 30 sec...
  • Remove the cutlets carefully and drain it in a paper towels...
  • Serve hot with ketchup and a hot drink like coffee or tea...



PICTORIAL :


Take the grining items
Grind the masala
Shredded the cheese in a mixing bowl
Add in grinded masala
Add in boiled potato
Add in shredded paneer
Add in salt
Add in garam masala powder
Add in coriander leaves and mint leaves
Mix well with your hands to form smooth dough
Roll it into ball and flatten it
Like this shape all the balls
Take flour in the bowl
Make it like paste
Now take bread crumbs in a plate
Take the cutlets and dip in the flour mix
On the both sides
Place it on the bread crumbs
Roll it completely on the bread crumbs
Keep it on the plate
Repeat this for all the cutlets
Heat a pan with oil
Fry it for 1 mins 
And flip it and fry it for 30 sec..
Drain it on the paper towel
Now it's ready 
Serve with ketch up
