Andhra Pesarattu Uthappam / Moong Dal Crepes Dosa


The most popular andhra dish is ready in front of you. It's so healthy and easy to make this uthappam as well as crepes dosa. For soft uthappam add less dosa batter to the mixture. The pesarattu uthappam is so soft and thicker like pancake......and the dosa is so crispy by adding some more oil or butter..... so try this two type of uthappam as well as crepes dosa at your home and let me tell how it is!!


Preparation time : 3 hour
Cooking time : 2 to 3 mins
Serve : 3 to 4

INGREDIENTS :

Green moong dal / pacha payaru - 1 cup
Dosa batter - as needed
Green chilli - 2
Ginger - 1 inch piece
Cumin seeds - 1 tspn
Salt to taste
Water - as needed
Oil - as needed

FOR MOONG DAL CREPES DOSA :


Onion - 1 (chopped)

Coriander - few (chopped)

METHOD :

  • Soak the dal for 3 hour. Drain them and add it to a blender.
  • And add in green chilli, ginger, cumin seeds and grind them to a smooth paste.
  • Now transfer into a bowl and add some ladle of dosa batter to that and mix well (click idli, dosa batter to view.)
  • Add in salt and again mix well, if u want add some water and make it like a batter.
  • Heat a tawa, take a ladle full of batter and make uthappam.
  • Sprinkled some oil around it, cook it and turn over it 
  • Next i want's to do dosa type, for that in heated tawa add a ladle of batter on it and spread dosa type.
  • Add top with some chopped coriander and onions.
  • Add some more oil or butter to that for it crispyness.
  • And turn over and cooked it for a min and take it off. 
  • Now the uthappam as well as dosa is ready.  
  • Serve it with ellu podi or chutney. 
PICTORIAL :


Take a dal in a bowl
Add water and soak it for 3 hours
Take ur ingredients for grind
Add soaked dal to the blender
Cumin seeds
Few ginger to that
Then green chilli
Grind into paste
Take a ladle of dosa batter
Pour to the grinded paste
Again a ladle of batter 
Pour to that
Add some water and make it to a batter
Some salt to that and mix 
Heat a tawa 
Pour a ladle of batter to that and leave it to spread itself
Add some oil to that
When it cooked turn it over
Serve
 You may also make it a dosa type
 Pour a ladle of batter and spread it evenly
 Add onions 
 Some coriander leaves
 Turn overit
It is green moong dal crepes dosa
