Pori kadalai / Pottu kadalai (Roasted Bengal Gram) Thuvaiyal


Pori kadalai Thuvaiyal is very easy and simple recipe that made by south indian households..It is mainly  served as a side dish for Rice or thalicha moor or Pulli Kuzhambu.. Pottu kadalai is rich in iron, fiber and protien which is essential to our body...

INGREDIENTS:

Pottu kadalai (roasted bengal gram) - 50 gms
Green chilli - 3 nos
Garlic - 2 cloves
Coconut - 1/2 cup (fresh, grated)
Salt - as required
Water - as required
Tamarind - a small piece

METHOD:
  • In a blender add all the ingrediants except coconut grind it with little amount of water..
  • Now add coconut again, pulse it lightly..
  • Add little amount of water to it..
  • Take this from the blender and roll it like a ball..
  • Now the Pottu kadalai (roasted bengal gram) thogayal is ready
  • Now serve this with thalicha mor (Spicy butter milk)
  • Click Thalicha mor (spicy butter milk) to view.

Take your ingrediants
In blender add roasted bengal gram
Add chilli, garlic, tamarind, salt
Grind into powder
Add some water
Atlast add coconut and grind it with some water
Ready to serve
