Oats Onion Uttappam


The delicious breakfast and dinner recipe that Oats onion uthappam is ready to eat now. It can eat with any kind of chutney. And we have added chopped onion in that which make taste good... My hubby could not believe that there were oats in them... They are so good, soft, and healthy too.... So you just try this awesome recipe at your home. Cooking Time : 7 mins
Preparation Time : 15 mins
Serve : 3-4

INGREDIANTS:

Instant Oats - 2cups
Sooji(Rava) -1/4 cup
Thick yogurd - 1/2 cup
Green chilli - 2(finely chopped)
Ginger - 1 tspn(grated)
Salt - as required
Baking soda - 1tspn
Oil - as required

FOR TOPPING:

Onion - 1 medium(finely chopped)

METHOD:

  • Take Oats in a blender and make into a fine powder
  • Now take powdered oats ina bowl add curd, sooji, giner, curry leaves, salt and mix well. let it sit for 10 mins. Add more water if needed.
  • Heat a non stick tawa and use a paper towel to grease it lightly with some oil
  • Pour ladleful of batter in it, sprinkle with the topping and drizzle some oil. Cover with a lid and cook on a medium heat for 2 mins
  • Flip over and cook for a min on other side too.
  • Remove and serve with any chutney

PICTORIAL:



Take your ingrediants
Take oats into the blender
Make it into a fine powder
Add curd with that
Add some fine rava 
Baking soda
Add salt
Add some water and mix it well
Add green chilli
Now add ginger(grated)
Again mix them well
With the air bubbles it will make uthappam softer
Take a dosa tawa
Pour the ladleful of batter in
Chopped onion finely
Sprinkle some onion on top and drizzle with oil
Turn over the uthappam
Now the oats uthappam is ready
Ready to serve
