Pudalangai Kootu



Cooking Time : 15 mins
Preparation Time : 5 mins
Serve : 2-3

INGREDIANTS :

Snake Gourd(Pudalangai) - 1
Moong dal - 50gms
Turmeric powder - 1/2 spn
Mustard - 1/2 spn
Urad dal - 1/2 spn
Salt - as required
Gingelly oil - 2spn

FOR GRINDING:

Green chilli - 2
Garlic - 2
Small onion - 6
Coconut - as required
Cumin seed - 1tspn

METHOD:

  • In a kadai add oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, snake gourd and moong dal, turmeric powder, salt and add some water mix it well let them to cook
  • Now grind the above grinding things into  paste
  • Add it to the kadai and mix it well untill the dal and snake gourd cooked well
  • Now the yummy pudalangai koottu is ready

Take your ingrediants
Put oil in kadai
Add urad dal and mustard
Add chopped snake gourd
Then add moong dal now
Add some amount of water on it
Turmeric powder
Add salt and let them to cook
Grinding items
Put them into blender
Add coconut in that
Grind like this
Pour it into kadai
Mix them well
It become thick
Now its ready
Serve 
Serve with vatha kuzhambu
