Star Hotel Style Mushroom Manchurian Dry


Mushroom manchurian is one of the popular indo chinese starter recipe.....Hubby is a great fan of fried rice and any type of manchurian too and his stable order in restaurants is egg fried rice and any dry recipe.. Iam also a big fan of these recipes after taste it.. 


You can make manchurian either gravy or semi dry (saucy) or dry version, I have made this recipe a dry one to go well with my tawa veg pulao recipe which is the another version of rice, soon i will post it..(keep watching). I have the habit of having starters / soups just enjoyed it and the next is the main dishes... So this is the best starter of the dinner or lunch recipes...


I love love love mushroom in any recipe, When i see the mushroom in shops i cannoy resist, I suddenly buy a pack of mashrooms because it is rich in nutrients and a good source of vitamins too and helps to reduce blood cholesterol levels.. Less calories also so try to includes mushrooms as a part of your weekly meal at least...

INGREDIENTS :

FOR FRYING :

Mushroom - 1 cup (cut into big pieces)
All purpose flour / Maida - 3 tbspn
Corn flour - 2 tbspn
Pepper powder - 1 tspn
Salt - 1 tspn
Water - 5 tbspn
Oil - for frying

FOR MACHURIAN :

Garlic - 4 cloves (chopped)
Onion - 1 (chopped)
Capsicum - 2 tbspn
Red pepper sauce - 2 tbspn
Tomato sauce - 1 tbspn
Red chilli sauce - 1 tbspn
Coriander leaves - few
Salt - as needed

METHOD :

  • First clean the mushroom and cut it into big pieces.
  • Now take a mixing bowl add corn flour, maida pepper powder, salt and mix well..
  • Make it into a paste by adding littlwe water..
  • Then add mushroom and give a mix..and fry it till crispy... keep aside..
  • Now in the same pan add oil and add in chopped garlic and saute well
  • Add then saute it with chopped onion and capsicum for 2 mins.
  • And add in all the sauces and mix well..if you wants add salt (check it)
  • Now add chopped coriander and fried mushrooms and give a mix..
  • Off the stove and serve hot...


PICTORIAL :


Clean and cut the mushroom into big pieces
 Take maida in a bowl
 Add some cornflour
 Add in pepper powder
 Add salt
 Give a mix
 Make it into a paste by adding water
 To this consistency
 Add mushroom 
 Give a mix  
Deep fry them untill crispy 
Drain them in a tissue
Heat a pan with oil
 Add chopped garlic
 Chopped onions
 A spoon of capsicum
 Then add tomato sauce
 Red chilli sauce
 Peprico sauce
 Give a mix
Add chopped coriander leaves
 Mix well till it dry
 Now add fried mushroom
 Saute it well 
 Now it's ready
