Sliced Egg Briyani Recipe


Egg Briyani made with sliced eggs is excallent taste flavourful, quick and enjoyable. But you should carefully place the egg slices one by one so they are heating up in a single layer. Fried egg slices give yummy taste to the briyani in each and every bite...


This type of briyani recipe is from hyderabadi food recipe prepared with fried sliced eggs and spices..Flavourful seeraga samba rice cooked with aromatic indian spices and spicy egg masala. Cooking the egg masala and boiled rice in dum gives egg briyani a unique flavour and taste. 


Nothing can beat this Sliced egg briyani and it is simple and easy to make... I used garam masala in powdered form so it blends easily with the rice and egg mixture and it tastes better as we don't get the whole dry spices into the mouth while enjoying the briyani....

Frying time : 5 mins
Cooking time : 30 mins
Serve - 4

INGREDINTS :

Seeraga samba rice - 1 1/2 cup (wash and drain, soak it for 20 mins and cook till 75 % done)
Onion - 2 (sliced)
Green chilli - 3 (sliced)
Tomato - 1 (sliced)
Oil - 3 tbspn
Ghee - 2 tbspn
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tspn
Bay leaf - 1
Cinnamon sticks - 1 
Ginger garlic paste : 2 tbspn
Yogurt - 1/4 cup
Chilli powder - 1 1/2 tspn
Coriander powder - 1 1/2 tspn
Cumin powder - 1/2 tspn
Garam masala powder - 2 tspn
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tspn
Salt - as needed
Cilantro - few

FOR EGG MASALA MIXTURE :

Hard boiled eggs - 4 (cut into 1/2 inch pieces)
Chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tspn
Salt - 1/4 tspn

METHOD :


FOR EGG MASALA MIXTURE :




  • Heat oil in a small skillet. When oil is just warm.
  • Add in red chilli powder, turmeric powder, Salt.
  • Carefully place the egg slices one by one so they are heating up in a single layer.
  • Fry the egg slices untill they golden on both sides on medium flame.
  • Once done, Keep them aside untill ready to be used.
FOR COOKING RICE :

  • Cooked seeraga samba rice before hand till 75% done.
  • For bring 6 cups of water to a roll boil.
  • Add in salt and addthesoaked rice.
  • Cook till 75% cooked. Don't over cook the rice
FOR GRAVY :

  • In a wide pan, heat the oil, ghee on medium.
  • Season with cumin seeds, cinnamon, and bay leaf allow to sizzle.
  • Add in green chilli, onion, tomatoes and saute it for 5 mins.
  • Then add in ginger garlic paste and cook the mixture cook on medium heat.
  • Now add in all masalas, yogurt and salt into the pan and cook untill theoil oozes from the sides.
  • Now quickly added masala coated fried eggs into the gravy.
  • Mix gently yogurt masala coated to the fried eggs.
  • Now add in 75% cooked rice, spread the ric eover the egg mixture in a level.
  • Top the rice with egg fried oil and cilantro, sprinkle few tspn of water so rice didnt dry out.
  • Cover a pan with tight fitting lid and simmer on low heat for 15 mins.
  • After 15 mins open the cover and mix gently the rice and egg masala are mixed well.
  • Biryani is ready to serve with raita or Egg rezala.

Take your ingredients
For frying eggs
Heat a small skillet with oil
Chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt
Add sliced eggs
Turn the eggs and cook till golden on both sides and keep aside
Heat a wide pan with oil
Add ghee
Add cumin seeds
Bay leaf and cinnamon sticks
Add onion, chilli, tomato
Saute it well
Add ginger garlic paste
All spices
Yogurt
Mix evenly
Add some salt
Then fried eggs
Masala will coated to fried eggs
Add cooked rice
Fried eggs oil
Like this
Some cilantro
Cover it with the lid for 15 mins
Open the lid
Carefully fluff the rice
Now its ready 
Done
It's plated and garnish with cilantro
Serve with raita

SERIOUSLY! they should use you. Great jobegg briyani and it is simple and easy to make. used garam masala in powdered form so it blends effortlessly with the rice and egg aggregate and it tastes better as we do not get the complete dry spices into the mouth while enjoying the briyani. I'm working at Outdoor advertising services in Chennai Now add in all masalas, yogurt and salt into the pan and cook dinner untill theoil oozes from the edges.Now quick delivered masala covered fried eggs into the gravy. mix gently yogurt masala covered to the fried eggs.
