Paal Kozhukattai





Preparation time:10 mins
Cooking time : 20 mins
Serve - 3 to 4

INGREDIENTS:

Rice flour - 1 cup
Coconut milk - 1 cup
Milk - 1/4 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Cardamom powder - 2 pinch
Ghee - 1 spn
Salt - 1 pinch
Coconut oil - 2 spn
Cashew nuts -10
Water - 1 cup

METHOD: 

  • In vessel add water and oil to boil. Now keep aside
  • In a bowl add rice flour,salt and boiled water and mix it make a dough with your Palm and take small portion of a dough in your Palm and roll it.
  • And make more tiny ball and keep aside
  • In a sauce pan add coconut milk to boil and also add tiny balls which have done
  • Now it began to boil add cardamom powder and sugar
  • When sugar dissolved, then add milk on it and off the stove. Now it evenly mix paal kozhukattai is ready
  • For garnishing, heat a kadai add ghee nuts and toss well
  • And pour it the kozhukattai and serve
  • The tasty paal kozhukattai is ready


PICTORIAL:


Take your ingredients
Pour some water in a vessel
Add oil
Let it became to boil
In another bowl add flour
add Salt
Warm water which we prepare
Mix evenly
Make it a dough
Take a small potion
Roll it in your Palm
Like this
Add Coconut milk in pan
Put the small balls on it
Let it become to boil
Then Cardamom powder
When it's puffed up
Add sugar
cook well
Let them to boil
Add milk on it
Heat a pan with ghee
Add cashew
Toss it
Became brown
Pour on it
Kozhukattai is ready
Serve

Coconut milk makes the recipe very yummy. The balls dipped in the milk which give excellent taste.I make this recipe for the white day program which held in my daughter's school. she is full of in white dress like a doll, so i thick to do this recipe for her. you may also try this at home and let me tell how it is
