Poori are my kid (shambhavi) favourite one. She loves poori even daily as a breakfast.. It is a very popular breakfast recipe.. Pooris are made from wheat flour, all purpose flour and sooji and are usually served with potato gravy or kurma or any sidedishes.. Adding Sooji / Rava makes the poori puffs up like a balloon...
The important key ingredients to make soft fluffy poori is sooji, adding the sooji in correct measurements as per the ingredients given below otherwise the poori became hard... I have already post Potato poori masala in my blog...

Preparation time : 15 mins
Cooking time : 1 mins (per poori)
Resting time : 15 to 20 mins
Serve - 3 to 4

INGREDIENTS:-
All purpose maida - 2 cup
Wheat flour - 1 cup
Sooji - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tspn
Coconut oil - for frying
Warm water - as needed
METHOD:-
- Take wheat flour, maida and sooji in a wide bowl and give it a mix...
- Now add in salt and oil..
- Now pour in warm water and mix well..
- Mix together with your palm to knead a soft dough..
- Dough become soft, kept it for 15 to 20 mins..
- Roll the dough in to small balls..
- Take a ball in a rolling board... Make the ball in to thin circle..
- Heat the pan with coconut oil..
- Once its heated drop the rolled circle into the oil fried it over..
- Press the top so that it's puffs up..
- Now flip the poori and cook on both side till brown..
- The puffed soft poori is ready its match with potato poori masala

Make it small ball
Take a ball
Make the ball in to thin circle
All are done
Heat the pan with oil
Once oil is heated drop the it slowly
When it fully dissolved
Press on the top with the spoon
So that it puffs up
See how it's puff
Now it's done
Turn it up
Drain them in a tissue paper
Serve hot
