It is a authentic briyani recipe cooked in hyderabad using boiled eggs, spices, masalas, Basmati rice that is cooke don dum and garnish with fried onions, coriander leaves and saffron milk...
Simply I tried and tested this wonderful briyani the result was amazing and hit in my home... My hubby suprised to have it.. I never had such type of briyani in my life.. The aromatic smell of briyani makes you happy and fulfill lunch...

INGREDIENTS :
Eggs - 3 (boiled)
Cinnamon / pattai - 2 small pieces
Bay leaf - 2
Green cardamom - 1
Cloves - 2
Onion - 2 (sliced)
Tomato - 1 (sliced)
Green chillies - 4 (sliced)
Chilli powder - 1 tspn
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Saffron threads - 1 pinch (mix with 2 tbspn of warm milk)
Curd / Yogurt - 1/2 cup
Coconut oil - 3 tspn
Ghee - 3 tspn
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Mint leaves - few (chopped)
FOR MASALA :
Coconut - 4 tbspn (grated)
Shallots / Small onion - 5 to 7 nos
Ginger - 3 pieces
Garlic - 3 pieces
METHOD :
- First take masala ingredients into fine paste and set it aside.
- And then boil the eggs, and keepaside..
- Now cooked the rice and it as per this instrutions.

- In a bowl add warm milk and saffron threads and mix well, keepaside
- In a pan add ghee, oil, whole spiecs and allow to sizzle..
- Add in onion, chilli, half of the coriander and mint leaves and toss well them for 2 mins.
- After it became transparent.Take away some fried onions in a plate and set aside.
- Now add masala paste, sliced tomatoes and cook till it softens a little.
- Add in salt, turmaric powder, all the spice powder and mix well.
- Now add in curd and give it a quick mix, so they form a semi gravy consistency..
- Add in the eggs and toss well in the masala..
- Layer the boiled rice over this, sprinkled some fried onions, and again layered with some boiled rice, and coriander leaves and mint leaves.
- Atlast sprinkled saffrom milk over the top of the rice.
- Cover with a lid and put it on the stone tawa which is keep on low heat.
- And place the flame in low and keep it on the dum..
- Let's it DUM for 20 mins and off it but don't open it for 15 mins.
- After 15 mins open it and fluff the rice gently.
- So that mum..Yummy......... Egg dum briyani is ready.
- Serve it with onion raita.
PICTORIAL :
Take all your ingredinets
Cook the rice and keep aside
Add a pinch of saffron in warm milk
Take grinding ingredients in a blender
Make it a smooth paste
Heat a pan with oil and ghee
Add in whole spicesAdd in onion and green chillies
Toss till transparent
Add in 1/2 of the corinder and mint leaves
Toss well for 2 mins
Now remove half the onion mixture to a plate
Now fry the onion till light brown
Like this (correct consistency)
Add in masala paste
Toss well along with the onions
Add in tomatoes
Add in whole spices powder and salt
Mix well and cook till they mushy
Add in curd
Give it a quick mix
When it became semi gravy consistency add in eggs
Toss well the masala
Spread the cooked rice ad fried onions over the egg mixture
Add in saffron milk
Cover the lid and place it on the tawa with low flame
Dum it for 20 mins
Now open the lid
Fluff it lightly
Now it's done
Transfer them to a serving plate
Serve hot
