This moong dal sambar is very easy to prepare with in 20 mins. We usually make this in every sunday for pooris. When I am lazy to prepare breakfast in the morning, I prepare this sambar which makes less time.. So I hope that you must try this recipe with pooris and let me know it's turns out from you

INGREDIENTS:
Onion - 1 (Slice pieces)
Tomato - 3(chopped)
Boiled potato - 1
Green chilli - 15 (sliced)
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coconut oil - 5 spn
Water and salt - as required
Boiled moong dal - 1 cup
Coriander leaves - as required
FOR FRYING:
Coconut oil - 2 spn
Mustard seed - 1 spn
Urad dal - 1 spn
Red chilli - 3 (broken)
Curry leaves- as required
METHOD:
- First boil the moong dal with a potato in a pressure cooker for 2 whistled.
- In a kadai add oil, onion, chilli, tomatoes and fried it for 3 min.
- Now add Turmeric powder, chilli powder and boiled dal, and toss it for a min.
- Add some salt and coconut, some required water mix them untill it became to boil.
- Atlast add potato, coriander leaves to that and mix well.
- Let them boiled for 10 mins. Untill the sambar became thick.
- Now in another kadai add frying items mustard, urad dal, red chilli, curry leaves and fry them.
- Pour it to the sambar and the colorful sambar is ready for poori.
- I best match with the soft puffed poori.

Take your ingredients
First boil the dal along with a potato
In a kadai add oil and chopped onions
Add in chillies
Add in chopped tomatoes
Toss it for a min
Add in turmeric powder
Then chilli powder
Add in moong dal
Then add coconut
Add some water and let them boil for 5 min
Add in salt
Add in mash potato
Add chopped coriander leaves
Bring to boil for 5 mins
Take your temper items
Add in oil, mustard, urad dal
Broken chill to that
Then some curry leaves
Toss it for a min
Now pour to the sambar
Let the sambar to boil for 5 mins
Now it's ready
Serve with poori
