INGREDIENTS :
Manathakkali keerai / Black nightshade - 1 bunch
Onion - 2 large (chopped)
Coconut oil - 1 tspn
Mustard - 1/2 tspn
Grated fresh coconut - 1/2 cup
Salt - to taste
FOR GRINDING :
Red chilli - 4 nos
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tspn
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tspn
Garlic - 1 clove
METHOD :
- Pick the leaves, chopped it very finely and clean the greens in large amount of water, multiple times to remove all the dirt and sand. Keep it aside.
- Grind the grinding items into coarse powder.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard and allow to crackle.
- Now add chopped onion and toss it well in the oil.
- Add chopped greens, salt and cover it with lid and cook it for 3 mins.
- Untill the greens are half cooked.(no need to add water)
- Now add masala and toss untill the raw smell is gone.
- Add coconut and mix well.
- Now it is ready.

In a kadai add oil
Add in mustard
When they crackle add in chopped onion
Add in greens and some salt
Sprinkle some water and toss well
Add in grind masala, mix well
Now it's cooked well
Add in coconut
