Neer dosa literally meaning water dosa is a crepe prepared from rice batter. It is light type of dosa, an indian dish. Neer dosa is a delicacy from of tulu nadu region in karnataka part of udupi cuisine....The word "neer" means "water".The neer dosai is so white as handkerchief.
I first saw neer dosa in vijay tv show. The dish done by venkatesh bhat and my family member watched it and offered me to prepared it as a tomorrow breakfast..
So i prepared this dosa at home, the dosa is really superb to see and sweety to eat, so my better half liked it very much.
And ask me to make the dish again and again. so i post this recipe for you to try ......So I hope you must try this at home and let me tell how it is comes out from you......
It is most loved by all kids because it soft, sweety and spongy...my hubby favourite, he enjoyed this neer dosa with onion tomato thokku that's taste is really awesome..

INGREDIENTS :
Masoori raw rice - 1 cup (soaked overnight)
Coconut - 1/2 cup (grated)
Salt - as needed
Water - 3 cups
METHOD :
- Wash and soak the rice for 3 hours and grind rice along with the water and coconut to a smooth batter.
- Remove ... and add salt, and 3 cup of water and mix well.
- It should be watery than other regular dosa batter.
- Heat a flatten kadai and pour a ladle full of batter and tilt the kadai so that the batter spread all sides.
- Cover the kadai with a lid allow the dosato cook for 2 mins.
- After it is done fold it into handkerchief.
- Now it's done and serve with tomato onion thokku.

PICTORIAL :
Take a cup of rice
Soak it for 3 hours
Grinding items
Add in coconut in a blender
Blend it first
And now add soaked rice
Grind into smooth paste

Add in water
Consistence is like this
Add in salt and mix well
Heat a kadai
Pour a ladle of batter on it and tilt the kadai
So the batter spread
Cover it with lid
See how soft is this and serve
