Soft Sweet Braided Brioche Buns


Home made sweet buns are sweet, soft and delicious.. Kids lovely one...The hints of sweetness in this buns brings many compliments, Serve warm with butter and jam..They are the big hit at any meals...


I make them quite often at home... I love the smell and taste of freshly made homemade buns, There is somthing in them which makes it so tasty...The buns are so soft and fluffy.....And made two yummy recipe with this soft buns one is Veg Burger and another is Sweet Stuffed Brioche Bride Buns.. Soon i post, keep watching...



This is my first bun recipe, i am so excited to make it because how its come out, but really it's superb So enjoyed it.. So i hope you must try this at home and let me know how it's comes out from you..


Preparation time : 10 mins
Baking time : 15 mins
Makes :10 buns

INGREDIENTS :

All purpose flour / maida - 3 1/2 cup / 400 grams
Water - 1 cup
Milk - 4 tbspn
Dry yeast - 2 tsp
Egg - 1
Sugar - 2 1/2 tbspn
Salt to taste 
Un salted butter - 50 grams (Soften)


METHOD :

  • Take water in a microwave safe bowl, add in milk amd butter and microwave it for 10 to 20 mins.
  • It should be luke warm and the butter wont melt.
  • Now add sugar to it and mix well. sprinkle over yeast and let it sit for 5 mins. till it is activated.
  • Now take flour, salt in a bowl and mix well.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl and egg and mix well.
  • Now kneed this for 5 mins till the dough is soft and springy.
  • Cover it and rest it for 1 hour. And knock back the air and knead once.
  • Flatten it and divide it into equal portion. Take one portion of dough and shape it into a ball . Flatten it slightly.
  • You can even bride the dough or it in any shape.
  • Prepare your baking tray with butter sheet and apply some butter on it...
  • Arrange in a baking tray and cover it for 30 mins. Pre heat the oven into 180 degree c.
  • Now brush the top of the buns with milk and sprinkled some sesame seeds.
  • Now bake this for 15 mins Remove it, and let it cool a little before serving.....


PICTORIAL :

 Take your ingredients
Take some water in a cup
 Add in milk
 Add in butter
 Now transfer it into a bowl
 Let's melt it for 20 sec, the butter not to melt throughly
 Add in some sugar
 Add in yeast
 Mix well and let it sit for 5 mins..
Now the yeast is activated
 Take flour in a mixing bowl
 Add in salt
 Mix well
 Broken a egg
 Now add the yeast mix
 Mix lightly
 Add in rest of the yeast mix 
 Mix well
 Now knead this for a good 5 mins
 To form a soft and smooth dough
 Now place this in a large bowl
 Now cover this plastic wrap and let it rise
 Look beautiful it rise
 Knock back the air
 Give a knead
 Knead it for 5 mins
 Prepare your baking tray
Apply some butter and keep aside
 Flatten the dough
 Divide it into 4 equal portions
Take one portion of dough and roll like ball
 Prepare round shape dough and place it on the tray
Now take 3 ball shape dough
 Roll them thinly
 Pinch the top
 Like you bride your hair
 Arrange them in a baking tray
 Cover it again and let them rise
You can use bigger pan, Because since i placed them quite close, 
as the buns baked they stuck to each other...
 
Now crack open a egg
 Mix lightly
 Brush it on the top
 Sprinkle some sesame seeds
 All beautifully baked
 Now it done
 
 They are looks beautiful
 Enjoy
